NPD Group released the sales results from December 2015, revealing Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 as the month's best-selling title.
“Call of Duty had a healthy holiday season with growth from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 relative to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," noted NPD Group's Liam Callahan.
This is the second month in a row Black Ops 3 topped the charts, beating out other notable blockbusters such as Star Wars Battlefront and Fallout 4. Once again, Black Ops 3 sold better on Xbox One than on PS4, a slight surprise given the new exclusivity deal Activision has with Sony.
As reflected in NPD Group's list December's best-selling titles, you can see Xbox One was once again the preferred platform for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
