No timed exclusive DLC for Fallout 4

With games like Call of Duty, players have become accustomed to downloadable content (DLC) hitting one console before the other. In the past, DLC for Call of Duty has always been made exclusively available to Xbox users, before PlayStation and PC users were able to grab it.

Typically this occurs when a publisher or developer makes a deal with one of the console makers; Sony or Microsoft. This will not be the case for Fallout 4.

Bethesda's vice president of P.R. and marketing, Pete Hines, revealed that any DLC that is developed for Fallout 4 will not be locked to one console for any period of time – each console will be receiving DLC at the same time.

It's unclear if this announcement can be applied towards all of Bethesda's upcoming games or not – but there's a chance. We have reached out for clarification.

Fallout 4 may have DLC planned to release in the future, but that doesn't necessarily mean they know what the DLC is. They may know the price for it, but they have not been working on it – they have been focused 100% on the game itself and not the DLC.
