Nolan North would be up to return for Uncharted 5

How do you feel about an Uncharted 5?

Last week Naughty Dog released the final entry in Uncharted series with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. The game has been critically acclaimed for being one of the best games to span across both next generation consoles providing a great balance between storytelling, graphics, and gameplay.

However, since this is said to be the last Uncharted game starring our beloved hero Nathan Drake, fans have been kind of bummed out. But in a recent interview with Vulture (via PlayStation Universe), voice actor for Nathan Drake — Nolan North, said that he "would certainly come back" to reprise his role as Drake.

“Depending on how much money this game makes, Sony might want to do another one with another studio,” adding, “And I would certainly come back.”

Naughty Dog's lead director on Uncharted 4, Neil Druckmann, stated something similar a couple weeks back as well. He said this will be the last Uncharted game Naughty Dog produces, but that doesn’t mean it's ruled out for other studios to take a crack at it.

This has already happened with Golden Abyss, as another Sony studio — Sony Bend took Nathan Drake on a portable PS Vita adventure. Fans might not want another studio directing a new Uncharted game, but it is good to see that a pivotal piece like North would want to make a return.
