Nooo! The 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro has surfaced!

It's here. The horrific day that so many of us feared has arrived. The Circle Pad Pro for the 3DS XL has risen from the abyss to make its first appearance on the good ol' internet. And in case you were wondering, yes, it's just as terrifying and absurd as the original Circle Pad Pro.

The new peripheral looks a lot like its predecessor for the first 3DS model. Not surprisingly, it makes the 3DS XL look even more gigantic. Don't get me wrong — I like the size of the 3DS XL, but with the Circle Pad Pro, it's kind of ridiculous.

The attachment was previously revealed to be a thing for the most recent iteration of Nintendo's dual screen handheld, but it wasn't until just recently that Nintendo posted an image of it. No word on pricing or launch details yet, but we're sure to get those soon.

I don't know if I'll be buying the Circle Pad Pro, mostly because it terrifies me. We'll see, though.
