North American 3DS Launch Window Titles Revealed

Nintendo revealed their list of North American launch window releases for the 3DS, although specific dates are being kept under wraps at the moment. The system’s launch window will begin on March 27 along with the 3DS and come to an end on June 7, day one of E3. Below are the confirmed launch window titles:

Asphalt 3D
Bust-a-Move Universe
Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D
Crush 3D
Dead or Alive Dimensions
Dual Pen Sports
Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars
Madden NFL Football
Nintendogs + Cats
Pilotwings Resort
Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
Rabbids Travel in Time
Rayman 3D
Resident Evil: The Mercenaries
Ridge Racer 3D
Samurai Warriors Chronicles
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
The Sims 3
Steel Diver
Super Monkey Ball 3D
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
Thor: God of Thunder
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell 3D

While there are a few noteworthy titles, there are also an overwhelmingly high number of ports that don’t seem all that interesting as well as some obvious shovelware. Thankfully, Nintendo also noted some games that are currently “in the works”:

Animal Crossing
Kid Icarus: Uprising
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Mario Kart
Paper Mario
Star Fox 64 3D

Oh, Nintendo, if only you would have released a couple of these games during the 3DS launch window.
