A couple of days ago we caught wind that the Minecraft creator, Markus "Notch" Persson, denied Jay-Z and Beyonce the ability to buy a mansion in Beverly Hills…How did he deny them the right you ask? Well, he paid $70 million in cash for the mansion and everything in it.
Now, it was only a matter of time until someone took the video tour of the mansion and decided to get meta. Dan Bovey, a Minecraft enthusiast, took the video tour and replicated it in Minecraft. Bovey didn't just make the mansion though, he even made the furniture in it.
The video below will show you a side-by-side look at his creation versus the real thing. Now, if you're thinking – I need this – I understand. You can't be straight up ballin' in Minecraft unless you have Notch's house in your game and it can be yours…soon. On the Planet Minecraft site, where the build is housed and displayed, Bovey notes that a download will be available shortly.
You can attempt to build your own mansion or just wait for the download to be ready.
