Nozomi Entertainment picks up Sketchbook ~Full Color’s~

I’m all for older animes getting picked up. Nozomi Entertainment has gone and done jsut that with Sketchbook ~Full Color's~ for future DVD release. While there is no hard release date, we’re looking at a summer of 2015 time frame. The DVD collection will be all 13 episodes.

Based on the manga series Sketchbook by Totan Kobako, which first appeared in a monthly magazine by the name of Comic Blade back in 2002, Sketchbook ~Full Color's~ is the anime adaptation. The anime is directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike (Wagnaria, Kaleido Star).

The story is about a quiet girl who joins the art club her high school. Her attention is often loss in observation of nature and general environmental beauty. The anime follows her interactions and antics of her fellow art club members.
