Nuketown returns as Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 pre-order bonus

Activision and Treyarch have confirmed the return of fan-favorite multiplayer map Nuketown in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.

The map, which originally debuted in 2010's Black Ops, will be offered as a pre-order bonus for Black Ops 3. Now dubbed "NUK3TOWN," the name references the re-design the classic map has received to highlight Black Ops 3's new momentum-based, chained-movement system.

"Set in the year 2065, players will experience a fresh take on this classic run-and-gun, close-quarters multiplayer map," Activision said, teasing an image of the re-designed map. It certainly is quite different from what I remember.

Access to NUK3TOWN will be available upon launch, with the download code included in the box for those who purchase a physical version. If you purchase it digitally, I'm assuming you'll get access automatically or have a code sent to your email.
