NVIDIA reveals extremely powerful Titan X GPU

NVIDIA has revealed the next generation of PC gaming – it's called the GeForce GTX Titan X. The reveal came during GDC, which is interesting considering that they are a keynote speaker during the GPU Technology Conference (GTC) next week. The time of reveal doesn't really matter though, what matters is that this bad boy was finally shown off.

Before we go into the specs, I want you to note one thing — this will probably be an expensive GPU; it's sibling (with the same amount of GB), the GeForce GTX Titan Z (12GB), sells for around $3K.

The GeForce Titan X will feature a 12GB VRAM (framebuffer) and will have 8 billion transistors. No price has been revealed, nor have any other specs been revealed. We will probably hear more about this during GTC or after AMD announces their new hardware and prices.

After the NVIDIA GeForce 970 promised 4GB of VRAM and only delivered on 3.5GB of VRAM, I might be jaded and not trust them on their specs anyway.
