Lionsgate releases the newest character posters and an image from the upcoming 'Power Rangers' movie.
This year's New York Comic Con is in full swing. One of the many upcoming projects beign revealed to the public is the latest on 2017's Power Rangers reboot. We've already been getting information gradually over the last few months, but just enough to whet our appetites.
Recently, we received the first glimpse of the newest incarnations of the Zords, as well as the Red Ranger's Power Sword. Now, the studio has released a new line of character posters which detail the suits our teenagers with attitude will be donning. The posters actually do a fine job of clearing up some of the skepticism from the previous reveal, mainly that the suits look too "sparkly". The new close-ups actually reveal the suits are detailed with scale-like textures likely to simulate the dinosaur origins of their powers. Check them out on the next page!
Alongside the poster came a new still from the movie, which depicts the five heroes in the dessert outside of some massive crystal structure, which is likely the outside of the famed Command Center:
