NYCC 2016: Sting announces WWE and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover

During the Nickelodeon TMNT panel today at New York Comic Con, Executive Producer Ciro Nieli shocked the crowd when he announced a crossover partnership with the WWE.

A new toyline was announced with each Turtle representing a various wrestler from WWE. At first, images of the toys were shown on the big screen, with Leonardo representing John Cena, Donatello as the Undertaker and Michelangelo as Macho Man Randy Savage. With only Rapheal left, that's when the big announcement came. The lights went dark and they announced WCW / WWE legend Sting as Rapheal, before Sting himself came out of the crowd and walked up on stage. Dressed in his original black and white makeup, Sting gave the crowd his patented yell before giving out early samples of the toys to some privileged fans. Unfortunately, we were not one of them.

The toys will be released soon as party of a Walmart exclusive, but  no pricing information was made available. Check out some images of the new toys below.
