Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off reportedly to begin production in 2019

With Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit theaters later this week, the Star Wars hype is reaching a climactic point for the year. Having said that they have more than enough material to make it to 2021 'and beyond' it's clear that Disney has plenty of Star Wars planned to please the masses.

After The Last Jedi's release, we can look forward to the Han Solo spin-off film to release next year, followed by the release of Episode 9 in 2019, and another Star Wars spin-off in 2020.

It was recently revealed that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning on developing a spin-off Obi-Wan Kenobi film and it's possible that the Obi-Wan film will be our 2020 spin-off. According to Omega Underground, the Obi-Wan film is set to being production in January 2019 at London's Pinewood Studio.

The rumored director, Stephen Daldry, was detailed to be attached to the film.
