Observer System Redux next-gen remaster coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X

Bloober Team has unveiled the studio’s first next-gen title. Unlike a brand-new game, the Polish developer is preparing to release an enhanced remaster of their 2017 sci-fi adventure Observer.  Observer System Redux is slated to launch this holiday season alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Polish game studio Bloober Team has unveiled the country’s first next-gen game. For the country which is home to several high-profile developers, that’s actually an impressive bragging right. Poland is a vastly underrated country of origin for ridiculously talented game creators. The Witcher series, Dying Light and Shadow Warrior are only a few of the standout games that originate from the East-European country.

Unlike those open-world epics, Bloober Team has found its niche in crafting greatly detailed atmospheric narrative experiences. 2016’s Layers of Fear showcased the developer’s talent for great horror games without relying on pure gore and shock. Their follow-up Observer took the studio into a futuristic cyberpunk world that harbored an underlying sinister plot.

You are Dan Lazarski, an elite neural detective known as an Observer, and part of a corporate-funded police unit whose purpose is to hack and invade suspects’ minds. In this future, anything you think, feel, or remember can be used against you in a court of law.
The year is 2084. If you somehow survived the Nanophage, odds are you were killed in the War. Those who live have turned to drugs, VR, neural implants— anything to distract themselves from this new reality. But they can’t hide from you.
