Today Oddworld Inhabitants confirmed the launch window for Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty, the next-gen remake of its PlayStation 1 era platformer Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee.
The publisher introduced a new story trailer (the voiceover dialogue ought to sound familiar) and announced that the title will hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita first in spring 2014.
"We are fully committed to all platforms — the game is scheduled for PC, Mac, Linux, and Wii U, the release windows for which will follow the PlayStation releases in a few weeks," the company wrote in a blog post.
My foremost memories of Abe's Oddysee are of its mystery factory meat and gross farts, so I expect plenty of those, only you know — in HD and high-quality sound.
Just Add Water is developing the rerelease. Oddworld Inhabitants is also planning to bring its previous game, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, to Wii U and mobile devices.
