Official Daxter Website Launches

Sony has launched the official website for their
PSP game, Daxter, based on their long-running and successful PS2 franchise, Jak
& Daxter. On the site (http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/OGS/UCUS-98618/Site/)you
will find new videos, cool phone and computer downloads, insider game
information and more. Daxter’s new site tells you everything you need to know
about everyone’s favorite ottsel and his brand new game.

The first title developed by Ready At Dawn
studios, Daxter™ sets the standard for character action games on the PSP system
and follows the ottsel’s solo adventures between the end of Jak and Daxter and
the beginning of Jak II™. In addition to the 3D platforming action of the main
storyline and the action movie themed dream sequence bonus levels, Daxter
supports Ad Hoc gameplay through a unique multiplayer mini-game called “Combat
Bugs” Daxter also features interoperability between the PSP and PlayStation 2
with Jak X: Combat Racing™.

Developed exclusively for the PSP system by Ready
At Dawn, Daxter is published by Sony Computer Entertainment America and rated
“E-10+”.
