The first trailer for Deadpool was revealed this weekend during San Diego Comic-Con to event attendees, those of us that were not at the event have to settle for the grainy leaked footage (that is nearly entirely too small to really see).
According to Ryan Reynolds, the actor playing Deadpool, we won't be seeing the trailer release until next month. Filming for Deadpool began in February of this year and wrapped up at the end of May, Reynolds revealed that there is still work to be done on the film.
As much as I want the #deadpool footage from #SDCC officially released, the VFX shots aren't done yet. We have something for you in 3 weeks.

While we have seen set photos of Reynolds wearing the Deadpool costume, the film will be using CGI to enhance the character – making Reynolds' statement on the need for more time on VFX understandable. Judging by fan reaction of the trailers reveal, the movie looks like it could stand to be a hit, you can check out the leaked footage here or wait for the official reveal.
