Official English trailer for Final Fantasy 15 has me wishing for a dual audio option

Remember that amazing trailer for Final Fantasy XV that showed us a few aspects of the game, like combat, cutscenes, the road trip, and the friendship between the four main characters? Well that trailer is now in English. It's a dual edged sword really. On one hand, I'm super excited that the project has reached a far enough level to showcase the English voice actors, but on the other hand… I then had to listen to those English voice actors.

Look, I get it, it's still quite early to criticize the game for its voice acting, especially considering that this trailer was stitched together from various points in the game, meaning we're barraged with a bunch of random banter, rather than having a cohesive narrative across the trailer. It's also possible that the Japanese trailer spoiled me.

So while I still prefer the Japanese voices to the English ones, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until I see a more cohesive trailer. But man do I still wish for a dual language option…
