Pokken Tournament is one of those intriguing titles that I can't wait to actually play to truly understand its mechanics. I mean sure, it's a 3D fighter at heart, but the fact that it's Pokemon, with each one being wildly different than the next has to have some wild gameplay implications.
While we won't get Pokken until Q2 2016, it looks like Japan's still getting new content for it in the form of new fighters, at least for the Arcade version. The official Pokken Twitter teased that a new fighter will be announced on December 10th. With the help of Gematsu and even the handy dandy Google Translate, we know that two Pokemon will be announced on that date, a Battle Pokemon and a Support Pokemon.
Given the amount of time we have until its release here, I'm hoping that a few more Pokemon make the roster before heading over here.
