Olivia Munn and Boyd Holbrook officially cast in Predator reboot

The Predator reboot has been hanging around in the background for some time, but it looks like Twentieth Century Fox is getting serious about moving forward on production. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Olivia Munn is currently in negotiations to sign on to the film alongside star Boyd Holbrook.

Holbrook is confirmed to play a Special Forces commando (of course) while Munn is scheduled to play a scientist. Not a lot of details are known about the movie's plot, though if you've seen any Predator film, you probably have a pretty good idea. However, one little tidbit did manage to slip through the cracks. Here's an excerpt from The Hollywood Reporter's exclusive:

The story plunks the alien hunter — whom audiences have seen fight in jungles, concrete jungles, frozen wastelands and alien planets — in the harsh environment of … suburbia.

So there will be a literal Predator stalking kids in the neighborhood? Who knows. But it sounds like the Predator will at the very least have plenty of human prey to hunt.
