One ‘Games with Gold’ title for February could be from developer Rare

Microsoft has yet to officially unveil February's Games with Gold, but a series of tweets from Rare could indicate at least one of their titles will be free for the month. Shortly after asking what gamers will be playing this weekend, the developer tweeted the following hint:

Rare has a number of games for the Xbox 360 to choose from including Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, which was made free in place of Rainbow Six Vegas for South Africa only. Other potential candidates include Perfect Dark Zero, Viva Piñata, and Kameo: Elements of Power. Do any of those titles sound particularly appealing to you?

While Rare hinted that one of their games may be free next month, there's also another rumor floating around NeoGAF that Dead Island could be free as well; although, there's very little substance to that rumor.

Don't worry, the wait shouldn't be much longer as Major Nelson promised to reveal the free games today.
