One Tower hits Kickstarter, bringing minion control MOBAs

When you play League of Legends or DOTA, there's one thing you can't help but do, watch your minion march on towards their own death and ultimately feeding your opponent. Of course, you can always block your opponent from feeding, but that's putting your life on the line.

One Tower is giving you another option – control your minions. The Kickstarter game is looking to combine elements from RTS games with the MOBA genre across both PC and Mac.

Each match in One Tower will only last around 10-15 minutes and will give players the ability to control minion wave configurations, as well as whether you want tanks, casters, healers, air, DPS and siege.

Features (as per the Kickstarter campaign):

  • Free-to-play head-to-head strategy game for PC and Mac
  • Configure your minion waves. Choose from Melee, Ranged, Air, Siege and more
  • Experience an arcade-style battle arena: Pick up speed boosts, damage modifiers and health on the map to gain an edge
  • Trigger deadly traps to surprise your enemy
  • Play through story campaigns to experience the Eternal Flame universe
  • Over 12 Heroes to choose from in Season One
  • Over 30 Minions to choose from in Season One
  • Customize your tower
  • Participate in tournaments and special events

At the time of writing, One Tower has reached $2,903 of its $24,000 goal with 29 days to go.
