Oni, the Samurai, shown off in new For Honor gameplay trailer

Ubisoft looks to have solved the sword fighting gameplay issues that have plagued consoles for a very long time with For Honor. Their new third person, cooperative sword play game has received much acclaim since its reveal at E3 and today we get an up close and personal look at the Oni – a character part of the game's Samurai class.

Utilizing a team setup with all three classes, For Honor will feature multiple different human players as well as A.I. teammates and enemies that you will need to account for. Each class has separate abilities and perks that need to be perfected in order to ensure your dominance on the battlefield. Today at TGS, we got to see some gameplay footage of the Oni – the game's Samurai – featuring both melee and weapon combat.

There is no release date yet on For Honor, but it has a tentative window of 2016 on both PS4 and Xbox One as well as PC. What do you guys think of For Honor? Let us know below and we'll update you as more information is revealed.
