This weekend, March 20 – 22, online multiplayer for the PlayStation 4 will be free for all players. No membership to PlayStation Plus is required during this time to try the online multiplayer.
Starting at 12:01am PT on Friday, and going til 11:59pm PT on Sunday, you'll just log in to PlayStation Network and launch a multiplayer game. You'll still have to own the game; it's not like you can hop in and play Destiny with your friends without owning it. Seeing as how Battlefield Hardline releases tomorrow, March 17, this weekend would be a great opportunity for non-PS Plus subscribers to get a nice fix of the multiplayer. Heck, it might even convince non-subscribers to subscribe.
So remember! Friday March 20 at 12:01am PT to Sunday March 22 at 11:59pm PT. Free online multiplayer on the PS4.
