Online retailer slashes price of PS4

Newegg selling PS4 for $349

For a limited time, online retailer Newegg is discounting the price of the PlayStation 4 by $50. The 12 percent discount brings the price of Sony's hot console down from $399 to $349, the same as Microsoft's Xbox One. There are some things to note, however.

The Newegg deal does not include a free game, whereas buying through Sony for the normal $399 includes The Last of Us: Remastered, one of the most critically-acclaimed PlayStation exclusives, for free ($49.99 value). So basically, if you want a PS4, but don't want to play The Last of Us: Remastered, go with the Newegg offer and then select a game of your choice.

Or you can also head over to PayPal's eBay storefront and take advantage of their limited time offer in which you can purchase a $50 PlayStation Store gift card for $40.

Or, you can say f*ck PlayStation, and instead take advantage of the Microsoft Store's new Xbox One promotion in which you can buy an Xbox One for $349 and get three games for free.

Decisions, decisions…
