Eager fans can pre-register for their preferred platform and there is good reason to do so. The developer will offer in-game rewards for all players at launch, with the more people pre-registering the better gifts being handed out. You can pre-register on Android, iOS, and PC.
While it’s nice that so many platforms are finally receiving Genshin Impact, miHoYo just recently shared that PlayStation 4 users will get access to the game not too far off sometime this fall.
You and your sibling traveled to Teyvat from another world. Separated on arrival, and now stranded here, you set about searching for answers from “The Seven” — the gods of each element.
Along the way, you will freely explore this wondrous world, join forces with a diverse range of characters, and unravel the countless mysteries that Teyvat holds.
But when you learn of an ancient threat now facing this world once more — will you, an Outlander, be the one to stay the flames?
The distinct anime aesthetics and F2P model might deter some gamers but Genshin Impact is a passion project through and through. Even more reassuring is Beta player’s feedback who lauded the game for its fidelity, gameplay mechanics, and even monetization.
Genshin Impact is offering a full open-world for players to explore, either alone or together with friends. Crafting, combat, and traversal are major cornerstones of the experience with a pretty hefty dose of inspiration taken from the excellent Zelda Breath of the Wild.
