In 2006 Epic Games brought Gears of War to the Xbox 360 and since then a lot has changed — except the need for a Gears game. While The Coalition is hard at work on Gears of War 4, the original game has been remade for the the Xbox One.
Gears of War Ultimate Edition is honoring the game that made it possible by recreating the original launch trailer for Gears of War with the remastered 1080p resolution and 60FPS that Ultimate Edition is bringing to the table.
Whether or not you enjoy the work they've done with Ultimate Edition is up to you, a side-by-side comparison of game cutscenes have drawn a rather mixed reaction — some players prefer the tone of the first game.
