Original Mary Jane actress calls Spider-Man: Homecoming out for ‘milking that cow for money’

She also called the Tobey Maguire films the best.

We will begin our Spider-Man journey for the third time in July, this time with Tom Holland taking the role of Peter Park. Before Holland took the role of Spider-Man, the role was given to Andrew Garfield in 2011 – who ended up starring in two 'The Amazing Spider-Man' films before he was booted from the role and before Garfield we had Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man.

Maguire played the role of Peter Parker in three films between 2002 and 2007 before his version of Spider-Man took a rest. With yet another Spider-Man on the horizon (this time even younger than before) it's only fair to ask the previous participants in Spider-Man films how they feel about it.

Unfortunately, Maguire wasn't questioned, but his love interest was. Kirsten Dunst, the actress behind Mary Jane was asked her opinion on the upcoming Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland and she wasn't very gently.

“We made the best ones, so who cares? I’m like, ‘You make it all you want.’ They’re just milking that cow for money. It’s so obvious. You know what I mean?”

The question is, is Mary Jane right? Are the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films the best?
