Apart from the new games and the reveal of Xbox One X, one of the biggest stories from Microsoft's E3 presser was the introduction of original Xbox games into the Backwards Compatibility program. At the same point, considering the amount of work that goes into Backwards Compatibility, it's understandable why adding achievements is not the highest of priorities at the moment.
