I don't have high hopes for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 after that train wreck of a reboot in 2014. Still, though, there are some things I'm excited for in the sequel, like seeing Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, the sports-themed vigilante who wields various sporting equipment as weapons and dons a hockey mask.
Producer Michael Bay has given us our first look at Casey Jones in the upcoming sequel, releasing a single photo of the character. And ya know what? It doesn't disappoint.
I don't know if Arrow star Stephen Amell can save this film for me with his representation of one of my favorite childhood characters, but I think I'm willing to give it a chance.
In addition to Stephen Amell, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will star Megan Fox as April O'Neil and Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick. Brian Tee was also recently announced to play Shredder.
Tennage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 is set for release on June 3, 2016.
