Outland and Gunstar Heroes among the newest Xbox One backwards compatible games

The latest titles available on Xbox One via the backwards compatibility program has been revealed. In this batch Outland and Gunstar Heroes have been added to the growing library of backward compatible games.

Recently, games like Left 4 Dead and Alan Wake were made available through backwards compatibility. This time, the games aren't as popular, seeing as two smaller games were added.

Both Outland and Gunstar Heroes are old-school styled 2D sidescrollers that were released as Xbox Live Arcade games quite some time ago. While Outland is a bit slower and more puzzle focused Gunstar Heroes is more like your Contra 2D sidescroller.

Both are now available to be played on the Xbox One.
