On May 23rd, Blizzard will be kicking off their 'Year One' Anniversary next week on May 23rd to June 12th, but there's a cherry on top for potential Overwatch players! Anyone who has yet to grab a copy of Overwatch for themselves will be able to play for free during the weekend of May 26th to May 29th on PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One!
During that weekend, Overwatch's full roster of 24 heroes and 14 maps ill be available to play in a variety of modes, including Quick Play, Custom Games, and the Arcade. On top of that, players will also have the ability to level up, earn Loot Boxes, and unlock a variety of different customization options.
If you choose to purchase the game after the free weekend, all progress will transfer over – as long as you use the same Blizzard, Sony Entertainment, or Xbox Live account that you played on.
