Overwatch Gets Double XP This Weekend, Here Are the Times

Overwatch is having another eventful weekend with its double XP event from June 8-12. As the game has been out for a year, and last week it celebrated with a free weekend. This weekend, fans will get a boost on every point they gain.

This bonus applies to the following sources of XP:

  • Time spent in a match
  • Completing a match
  • Completing consecutive matches
  • Winning a match
  • Backfilling a match in progress
  • Earning medals

The bonuses also stack with existing group and IGR bonuses. In fact, the only experience it doesn't effect is First Win of the Day bonus.

The double bonus event begins  Thursday, Jun 8 at 5 pm PDT and ends Monday, June 12 at 11:59 pm PDT. Check out the easy guide below to see when your region's double XP event starts.

Overwatch also has a new map called the Horizon Lunar Colony.
