There's no denying Blizzard's Overwatch can sometimes become a tad bit frustrating (to say the least). Well, some relief is on the way. Blizzard is apparently readying to address the game's punishment system.
At this time we don't quite know what will be changed, but game director Jeff Kaplan has promised that a post about updates to the punishment system are "coming soon."
Blizzard has slowly worked to fix Overwatch's reporting system. The first fix focused on the game's Competitive mode, punishing leavers with XP penalties and matchmaking timeouts. While it may have thwarted some toxic players, ranked play — particularly at the lower levels — is still filled with leavers, afkers, and just flat out a**holes that ruin the experience for everyone. Let's hope the next update is a bit more harsh.
