If the rumors are true, and they certainly appear to be at this point, Blizzard's upcoming multiplayer shooter Overwatch is coming to consoles.
In addition to all the file evidence pointing towards a console version of the game, retailer GameStop is now reportedly taking pre-orders on the shooter for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Interestingly, the game is priced at $60 which I find a bit odd considering it seems built as a free-to-play title. However, Blizzard does sell other free-to-play games, like Heroes of the Storm, as a physical bundle that typically includes heroes and skins — so it's possible Overwatch may still be free–to-play.
Nothing official has been announced as of yet, but that's probably because Blizzard is waiting for Blizzcon, which kicks off tomorrow at 11:00am PT (2:00pm ET).
Overwatch still doesn't have a release date, but Blizzard recently announced the details for the game's beta.
