We are just hours from the release of the Overwatch Summer Event and the reveal of the skins, which is what everyone really wants to see. Thanks to a leak from what appears to be from some Chinese marketing for the event, we have our first "alleged" look at Mercy, which is supposedly Jeff Kaplan's all-time favorite.
The image above popped up on Reddit, where many fans have noted that Mercy appears to be in Greek Goddess attire, thus leading some to believe she may be dressed as Nike, the Goddess of Victory. While I doubt Blizzard will confirm that she is Nike, possible due to legal reasons, it would be absolutely fitting for the event.
We can also confirm, according to Jeff Kaplan, that Sombra will also receive a new skin, which should thrill fans of the infamous hacker.
Since we are only a few hours from the official reveal, we'll be sure to make another post when we have more, but for now, this should whet your appetite.
