Pac-Man may be getting a makeover

A survey on the Pac-Man Facebook page is asking fans to help choose a new art direction for the classic character.

The image shown here reflects four possible styles for a "new Pac-Man game." The second question asks what platforms people play casual games on — with smartphones, tablets, consoles, and PC/Mac listed as options.

The final two questions concern age (people 13-40, in particular) and sex.

What do you think Namco Bandai is planning? Back in June, the company registered a trademark for "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures" — and before then, in April, it filed for the name "Pac-Man Smash!" in Europe. Could this be related?
