Padmé Amidala hasn’t even seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens yet

Wow, talk about late.

Despite being one of the most popular films out, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has yet to attract Natalie Portman's attention. The actress is known for playing Naboo monarch Padmé Amidala, who is the mother of Luke and Leia, in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

Whether she likes to admit it or not, she played a pretty major role in the series.

“I haven’t been able to see it yet,” said Portman on Good Morning America, although she has heard the positive reviews movie has garnered. “I’ve heard it’s amazing and it’s so nice that it’s sort of this continuing part of everyone’s shared cultural knowledge.”

Maybe Padme is a bit upset over the path Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader chose (or sore over her death).
