Paradox Interactive today confirmed a release date of May 21, 2010 for Legio,
the upcoming turn-based PC strategy game by indie game developer Ice Game
Studios. Playable for up two players, the game is a mix between chess and a
turn-based war game and takes place in a mythical fantasy world where magicians,
warriors and monsters battle for domination. Legio will be available via digital
download for $9.99/€9.99.
Both players control an equal army of characters with the goal of eliminating
the other player’s army. Learning to play Legio is quite easy, but mastering all
the various strategies promises hours of extended gameplay. Legio also includes
an intelligent music engine that adjusts the musical theme to reflect the
current gameplay.
