Part two of Destiny: The Taken King’s Sleeper Simulant quest is now available

Yesterday, the first part of a quest line to obtain Destiny: The Taken King's highly coveted Sleeper Simulant heavy Fusion Rifle was unlocked. It presented players with a series of tasks that needed to be completed before abruptly ending when the Fusion Core was repaired. It was believed that the next part of this mysterious quest would be offered in due time; however, it looks like the second, and final, chapter of the quest line is available today. Completing this will finally reward you with the Sleeper Simulant.

So what do you need to do?

Take the Reassembled Fusion Core from yesterday to the Gunsmith in the Tower and he should present you with a quest called "The Sleeper Stirs." This is actually a new level-42 version of the Fallen SABER strike that you should see on your Director. Note: This is the annoying Strike where you have to defend yet another Warsat. Complete this and you'll obtain the Sleeper Simulant Weapon Frame which can then be turned in at the Tower for the Sleeper Simulant.

If you don't see the new quest, it probably means you didn't do the first part. Unfortunately, "The First Firewall" is no longer available, but Bungie says it will "return in time." For those who didn't have that quest available yesterday, I suggest you hunt those four fusion relics, as that's what triggers the quest line when it does become available again.
