Partial list of Mass Effect 3 ‘extended cut’ DLC characters revealed

Mass Effect 3's ending brought about mixed emotions for fans of BioWare's epic sci-fi trilogy, though it seemed most saw the conclusion as a snub, but after a successful "take back Mass Effect" campaign, fans will final receive the "closure" they've been looking for. Since BioWare gave fans the nod of a extended cut DLC, though, little details have actually surfaced on the contents of the free content. Thankfully, several voice actors have confirmed their roles in the DLC today, which is seemingly shaping up to be a nicely sized chunk of story content.

Admiral Hackett (Lance Henriksen), EDI (Tricia Helfer), and Kaiden (Raphael Sbrage) will all be in the DLC, which contains several different "perspective endings" from the game's central characters. Keep in mind, though, that the DLC will not feature an entirely separate campaign ending; instead it aims to answer the age old question: why did this ending happen?

Mass Effect 3's extended cut free DLC sets to launch this summer.
