PAX East 2017 continues to roll out the gameplay previews, this time it's Final Fantasy XV Episode: Gladiolus. Gladio's solo adventure is the first of the separate character DLC's that Square Enix has planned, and as its release draws closer, we finally got an extended look at just how it will all work (courtesy of Gamespot).
It seems as though Final Fantasy XV's criminally underused immortal Cor Leonis will be joining Gladio on this adventure as the pair set off in search of Gilgamesh. The DLC takes place during the events of the main game after Gladio temporarily leaves the party after they encounter Ravus Nox Fleuret. As you can see, the UI has received a new look more in line with Gladio's brutish personality, but the game still retains much of what it does in the main adventure.
As previously reported, Episode: Gladiolus can be purchased separately or as part of the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass. Final Fantasy fans can also get their hands on Final Fantasy XV: A King's Tale, a retro-style 2D Beat 'Em Up that was previously a pre-order exclusive at GameStop. Perhaps the best part about it is that it's free-to-play.
