PAX East 2017: Huntdown, a Retro-inspired 2D Cyberpunk Shooter reveals new trailer

A good ol' nod to the 80's.

PAX East 2017 has brought a sweet bundle of reveals over the course of this weekend. Huntdown is a 2D retro shooter set in a post-apocalyptic Cyberpunk world that was announced about a year ago and is being developed by a five-man team calling themselves Easy Trigger. The developers released an all-new trailer for the game showing off the different factions of gangs that fight for control of the city.

In Huntdown you play as a Bounty Hunter tasked with cleaning up the streets, and like every other great 2D action game, Huntdown has a distinct focus on co-op multiplayer. Huntdown's visuals are hand drawn, pixel by pixel, and the game runs at a silky smooth 60 FPS.

Huntdown is due to release later this year and will come to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
