Payday 2 has joined the ranks of games available on SteamOS. Developer Starbreeze is known for being being generous and listening to their fans when they are wrong and now that they are releasing Payday 2 for the SteamOS they are making it available for free for those who already owns it on Windows and for those who already has purchased the Alienware Steam Machine.
The SteamOS version of Payday 2 will also support the Steam Controller and SteamCloud which will allow gamers to sync their progress and save files between the different operating systems that they play on. The SteamOS version will get as much love as the Windows version with updates coming out at the same time and date for both Windows and SeamOS.
Payday 2 is a FPS game that puts players in the shoes of heisters who robs banks, jewel stores, malls, and other various locations. Up to four players has to cooperate to rob as much as possible and fend of the police who is just doing their job.
Payday 2 is now available on every current generation platform besides Mac. The SteamOS version will cost $19.99/€19.99.
