Payday 2 getting free new character and heists

There is seemingly no end to the amount of new content that's being made for Payday 2, and the next content drop will be free!

The somewhat special first person action sci-fi movie Hardcore Henry and the guys at Overkill Software has teamed up to create a new character and a few heists in preparation for the release of Hardcore Henry.
The new character will be will be Jimmy, played by Sharlto Copley, an unstable psyco Britt with a hair that even Fellaini would be jealous of. Jimmy will come with his own mask, voice acting, perk deck, and weapons, and all of this will be taken and inspired by the movie.
The new heists will be a bit more story-driven than usual and a long and somewhat weird trailer shows that chaos, action, and cocaine will be flowing through the heists.

This isn't the first time that Overkill Software teams up to make some sweet collaborations, they have in the past made a Goat Simulator Heist DLC with Coffee Stain Studios, a John Wick DLC with Lionsgate, and a Hotline Miami DLC with Dennaton Games.

The guys at Overkill are hyped about the collaboration as well.

 Hardcore Henry is an awesome movie. When we saw what the movie director Ilya had in mind with his film, we said yes straight away. Hardcore Henry represents so many things that make PAYDAY 2 the game it is. The action, the high intensity and the rush of adrenaline all resonates perfectly with PAYDAY 2. Having the one and only Sharlto Copley become part of PAYDAY 2 with the introduction of Jimmy as a playable character is a dream come true. We in the OVERKILL crew are excited to see what the PAYDAY heisters around the world think about our newest collaboration!

Jimmy is available to download now, the heists will come out March 31st, and the movie Hardcore Henry will come out April 8th.
