For the last 20 months people have been mercilessly robbing banks and pulling off heists in Payday 2. All of the bank robbing came at a price – $30 for the game and whatever price you chose to pay for DLC.
No longer will you be subjected to courting your friends into paying $30 to rob banks with you. Prices have dropped for good (on Steam) all across the board – that means the game and all the DLC are cheaper.
You will be able to buy the base game for $19.99, the Game of the Year Edition (includes all the DLC) for $49.99 and then the various DLC for anywhere from $17.99 to $2.99. That's not all though, the rollback in price came with an update!
The update is 1.6GB and includes a number of things (on top of the price cuts):
Note: If your game crashes after the update it's because of your mods. Uninstall the mods and wait for the mod developers to update them for the new client.
