PayPal is now a valid payment method on Nintendo Switch

If you don't like pulling your credit card out each time you want to buy something online, you probably use PayPal. It makes online purchases much faster and easier but if you're a Nintendo Switch owner, you've been out of luck since launch. Luckily, that's about to change!

Nintendo has officially revealed that PayPal is now a valid payment method on the Nintendo Switch eShop. You no longer have to pull out your credit card or go to an online retailer that supports PayPal to buy eShop currency!

You can read the official statement below

For customers in the United States and Canada, PayPal is now available as a payment option for digital content on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch! Linking your accounts will also allow you to use PayPal as a payment option on the Nintendo website when purchasing content for Nintendo Switch, Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
