In one week, PC players will finally have the opportunity to get their hands on Grand Theft Auto 5. We don't know if GTA V will be launching with Steam Workshop in mind, but that doesn't mean that we won't be seeing insane mods for the game (mod it until it breaks!). Whatever the case may be with mods, we do know one thing…
You can begin pre-loading GTA V through your Steam library right now (if you purchased the game).
To begin the 59GB download, head over to your Steam library, select "Grand Theft Auto V," and left click the pre-load button — if the pre-load button isn't showing up, restart Steam and try again. Once you set up your download options (shortcuts, install location) the pre-load process will begin automatically. Like any other Steam download, you can pause and continue at any point in the process.
Note: Just because you pre-load the game, that doesn't mean you will be able to play it before it releases on April 14th.
