Indie Developer Celebrates Launch
with Special Sale Price on Episode One in Europe, Asia
Hothead Games today proudly
announced that its well-received Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick
Precipice of Darkness, Episode Two is now available via the PLAYSTATION®Network
in Europe. Further, fans of the series in Russia, Belgium and the Netherlands
will receive double the treat, as Episode One and Episode Two launch
simultaneously in those countries today to bring the classic Penny Arcade humor
to all-new audiences. In recognition of these auspicious events, Episode One is
discounted to ç5.99 on the PlayStation®Network in Europe and the equivalent of
$10 across Asia now through April 30.

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the
Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One is the first installment in an
RPG-adventure game series set in the comic-book-meets-pulp-horror-meets-H.P.
Lovecraft deranged 1920s universe of New Arcadia. Players join Gabe and Tycho,
the crime-solving team of the Startling Developments Detective Agency, to combat
savage enemies and solve mysteries hidden deep in the sinister heart of New
Arcadia. The game series is the result of close collaboration between Hothead
Games and Penny Arcade, featuring distinct artwork and characters designed
exclusively by Mike "Gabe" Krahulik, story and dialogue by Jerry "Tycho" Holkins
and brought to life by the Hothead team.
Then, the madcap Penny Arcade
experience continues in Episode Two! Players can jump right in with a fresh
character and new customization options or carry over their look and stats from
Episode One. Plus, there are more puzzles, areas to explore, levels to gain and
new difficulty settings to make the journey more insane than ever before. Rejoin
Gabe and Tycho to go crazy with a whole new episode, moving ever closer to
solving the mystery in the heart of New Arcadia.
Penny Arcade Adventures: On the
Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One and Episode Two have been rated
"M" for Mature by the Entertainment Software Rating Board for all platforms
