Perform ‘freestyle’ face-melting solos in Rock Band 4

Today, Harmonix confirmed that music fans will able to get their hands on Rock Band 4, as well as the Full Band set on October 6th. However, the big news following that is the all new Freestyle Solo Guitar play.

Previously, guitar solos were performed through dictated notes in certain spots of the song. Now, those sections will be completely open for fans to shred their own solo, to play exactly how they want, be it button mashing or careful button presses.
