Persona 3 The Movie: #3 Falling Down announces premiere date

The first Persona 3 The Movie was delightfully accurate to the Atlus game. It can only be assumed that Persona 3 The Movie: #3 Falling Down will only continue this trend. As the third of this series, and well from playing the game, it's possible that this film could be the conclusion. It’s uncertain if there will be more movies but only these three have been announced thus far – perhaps going into The Answer later. While the release date was hinted towards at the end of Persona 3 The Movie: #2 Midsummer Knight’s Dream in misspelled English, as of today we have a hard release date. Come April 4th, showings will start in select theaters in Japan.

If all this wasn’t enough, the film’s theme song will be performed by none other than Yumi Kawamura and Lotus Juice. For those familiar with Persona 3, these two are the musical artists in game’s popular tracks. “Light in Starless Sky” is the track and those fortunate enough to get a special pre-reserve ticket will receive a CD of this track. Saying I’m jealous doesn’t suffice this dread in my heart that I should probably burn.

With the arrival of a mysterious transfer student, Ryoji Mochizuki, the member of S.E.E.S. take on their greatest challenge yet in an attempt to end the Dark Hour and monstrous Tartarus. I’m excited, I want to see this, hopefully it comes out on DVD quicker than #2 did (still waiting). Here's hoping!

Just look at how beautiful dat movie poster is:
